As part of the staircase restoration, multiple different elements needed work.

We drew on our plethora of different skills in restoration to complete this project.

Works included: stripping the old paper from ceiling and walls, as well as hanging new wallpaper and painting where necessary; stripping old woodwork, staining, lacquering and French polishing; taking profiles of architraves, skirting and other mouldings, to create exact replicas, along with coving restoration; restoring doors, balustrades and handrails; and LED light installations.
Working diligently and with expertise, we were able to be efficient and restore the staircase with expert flourish.

The broad scope of works was completely successfully, and the new staircase looks stunning and fit for another generation of guests at the hotel.
